About one week after the beans are cut and allowed to dry in windrows, it is time to combine! We joined the Hungenberg family to watch them harvest one of their beautiful fields of Colorado Proud Mayocoba beans, also called yellow beans.
As explained in the video, this year presented numerous challenges for farmers, including wind and hot, dry weather. We are thankful that our farmers persevered to bring us all tasty beans packed with plant protein and fiber.
